Lucky Dog Surf Co. is your Jersey Shore surf haven. Our owner, Melissa wanted to create a fun, comfortable, community driven atmosphere where people feel welcome. Whether you are a seasoned surfer, just starting out, or love the surf culture; Lucky Dog Surf Co. will make you feel right at home and is here to cater to all of your beach going needs.

Owner, Surfer, Dog Lover

Melissa is a native Jersey Girl who’s been around the world and back. She first started surfing at age 12 and surfed casually until she moved out to Hawaii, where surfing became her passion. After landing back in Jersey she decided to make surfing her career and open up Lucky Dog Surf Co with her mutt buddy, Guinness.

Melissa can be seen surfing all over Monmouth County, teaching, and probably performing in some sort of musical. She and Guinness hope Lucky Dog Surf Co gets you surf stoked! Mahalo for your business!

Dog, Partner in Crime, Mascot

Guinness loves long walks on the beach and fancy kibble dinners. He loves good old PDA and is not afraid to go after what he wants. Originally from Puerto Rico, he grew up around the ocean but is still getting used to these colder Jersey Shore waters.

Guinness hopes to take his first surf lesson this summer and in the meantime would love to get a belly rub or chase a tennis ball! He’s one lucky dog!
